HybridSPE-PLusisthenextgenerationofHybridSPE-Phospholipidtechnology.Thefirstofitskind,HybridSPE-Phospholipidtechnologywasfirstintroducedin2008.Itfusesthesimple,standardizedmethodologyoftraditionalproteinprecipitationwiththespecificityofsolidphaseextraction(SPE)forthesimultaneousremovalofproteinsandphospholipidsfromBIOLOGicalsamplespriortoLC-MSanalysis.Unlikeotherphospholipidremovalproductsthatuseahydrophobicretentionmechanismtoremovephsopholipidsfrombiologicalsamples,HybridSPE-PhospholipidtechnologyusesauniqueLewisacid/baseretentionmechanismthatallowsittoseparatephospholipidsfromevenveryhydrophobicanalytes,suchasvitamins,whichareoftenretainedalongwithphospholipidsoncompetitiveproducts.
