 TestPrinciple
 
 WiththeChemiKine?PEDFassaysystem,amousemonoclonalantibodygeneratedagainsthumanPEDFiscoatedontoamicroplateandisusedtocapturePEDFfromasample.Asecond,biotinylatedPEDF-specificmousemonoclonalantibodydetectsthecapturedPEDF.Peroxidase-labeledstreptavidindetectsthebiotinylatedmousemonoclonalantibody.AfteradditionofthesubstrateandstopsolutiontheamountofPEDFisdetermined.ThestandardcurvedemonstratesadirectrelationshipbetweenOpticalDensity(OD)andPEDFconcentration:i.e.,thehighertheODthehigherthePEDFconcentrationinthesample.
